July School Holiday Surf Camp

These school holidays, Institute of Froth is bringing back our Surf Camp at Terrigal Beach, designed to give kids a dose of sunshine, saltwater, and fun.

During this half day session we create an environment where kids can build confidence in the ocean, connect with others, and fall in love with surfing. The session flows naturally between time in the waves and fun sand games, keeping everyone engaged, active, and smiling the whole way through.

It’s not just about learning to surf, it’s about creating those classic beach memories.

The ultimate school holiday experience for 7–13 year olds!

Each day’s program will include:

Beach and surf safety
Surf etiquette and identifying wave types
Paddling and pop-up practice
2 surfing sessions
Sand based game and activities
Recap, wrap-up and pick up

*If conditions on the day are deemed unsuitable for Terrigal Beach then the Surf Camp will be held at our alternative beach, North Avoca. Parents will be notified at least 1 hour prior to drop off if this is the case.

Please note: The School Holiday Surf Camp requires a minimum of 4 participants to operate. If the minimum amount of participants is not reached then a refund will offered or the amount paid can be used as credit towards surf lessons for the remainder of 2026. Parents of participants will be informed 48 hours before the start time if there are not sufficient numbers to run the program.
